$125+ Million of Public Money Wrongfully Used to Market John Muir!
The Sierra Club is a very wealthy Political Organization that can afford to pay for the marketing of their founder. We the People don't need to always foot the bill. Also the Sierra Club could have lobbied Congress for a Commemorative Coin Act to have a special coin minted of their founder John Muir.
So why would the Sierra Club resort to having their close associate Kevin Starr resort to underhanded and illegal acts to steal the California State Quarter from the People of the United States of America? I just don't know. If you have the answer, please let me know or better yet contact your favorite news program and let them know so they can tell all of US.
Check out the list of publicly funded promotional materials
for John Muir and the Sierra Club. Just think of all the signs
needed for streets and freeway exits, and every map printed
that bears the burden of these subtle yet effective marketing
tokens. Most if not All paid for by our tax dollars. Now more than 125 million dollars of our currency is being useddue to fraudulent meansas promotional materials for the Sierra Club and properties it profits from.

- John Muir is "the Greatest Californian" according
to the California Historical Society, Kevin Starr is a member
- Kevin Starr is described as a modern Muir in an article
by William Deverell
Kevin Starr has stated that one reason for his wanting to use
the California State Quarter as a John Muir Commemorative Coin
is to educate people about John Muir. It is obvious that John
Muir is already well known throughout California and the World,
and there is absolutely no good reason for Kevin Starr to swindle
the California Quarter away from the People. If Kevin Starr
wanted to truthfully promote John Muir in a legal manner, he
would simply have chosen to work with the Sierra Club and the
US Mint in lobbying Congress to legally pass a Coin Act for
the creation of a John Muir Commemorative.
Commemorative Coins honoring individuals or exclusive organizations
are passed through Congress, such as the Thomas Alva Edison
Commemorative Coin [Public Law 105-331] and the Leif Ericson
and Lewis and Clark Commemorative Coins [Public Law 106-126].
Although the California Historical Society
and Kevin Starr idolized John Muir as a god, John Muir is NOT
the Greatest Californian (as they have stated). There are many more great
people that have done many great things in and from California.
I believe that All Californians are significant and have
the potential to accomplish great things. That is why I designed "A Golden Moment" to be representative
of all Californians, and I believe that many People made "A
Golden Moment" the most popular choice for the California
State Quarter because of that inspirational beauty.
Ultimately I designed A Golden Moment so that anyone may look upon the miner as themselveshaving, working, and attaining their dreams.
